A Perfect Day In: Seattle, WA — a photo essay for the etailer’s travel guide

In 2019, late summer, I was commissioned to produce a photo essay to complement Need Supply Co.’s Seattle travel guide. Throughout the day-long excursion across ten different locations, I captured an eclectic collection of some of the best Seattle has to offer, from creative studios and small boutiques to eateries and quiet corners. I was accompanied by Need Supply Co.’s editor and, together, we encapsulated these moments through writing and imagery.

From the editorial—

They say you can’t have it all, and especially so when it comes to location — that a place can’t be both chill and exciting, both futuristic and naturally beautiful, both luxurious and accessible. But whomever ‘they’ are, clearly they haven’t been to Seattle.

Whether you find yourself in Seattle for a day, a week, or a lifetime, we encourage making the most of your time there, and we have some suggestions on that subject. While not all of our favorites made this list (honorable mentions to Spinasse, Taylor Shellfish, VIF Wine Bar and many more), we think this is a pretty good start.
